Through Hole Assembly
Boards are assembled by hand then either wave or hand soldered by our experienced personnel.
Through Hole Technology (THT) is generally used on older existing assemblies, power boards and boards that have a number of connectors that are only available as THT. It does produce stronger soldered joints.
The components have to be pre-formed, inserted through the holes in the PCB, cropped and then soldered, making it more labour intensive than SMT.
